What is the best way to promote my website’s affiliate program?

I do not want to spend the money for CJ or any of the other affiliate networks. That said, I am willing to put in the work to get good affiliates. How do I do this?? My website is www.reversemortgagepage.com.

Write articles about your topic and submit them to places like goarticles.com or ezinearticles.com. Also try joining the work at home mom’s groups like wahm.com.

Yea I agree with Brenda, article submission is the way to go. you can also start a link campaign to get more targeted traffic. Also you can try some different viral traffic methods.

Get your program listed on affiliate program directory sites. There are quite a few of them. Here’s a partial list – http://www.affiliatetips.com/ezineway/affildir.htm

And if you do get serious about submitting articles to the article sites (I agree with the other answers; it’s an effective way to promote your site) then you might consider using an automated article submission service that will post your articles on several hundred article directories. Hi,
If it is your website or an affiliate website you still need traffic. You don’t do well with Search Engine Optimization if it is not your website.
But you can learn more methods to get traffic to your affiliate site. There is no special thing to do! Advertising is the key.
